Movie mega star Mel Gibson is apparently not immune to impulsively changing his look. According to recent Internet reports, after being dared by his son he shaved his head bald. Fifty-three year old Gibson, who won over female moviegoers when he starred in the first Lethal Weapon movie thought a smooth head would look good on him.

He was quoted as saying, “I thought it would be cool. That I`d be Shaft.” At any rate, his new look did have one unexpected benefit. Gibson said, “Looking like I was a plucked chicken, the only perk was I wasn`t recognized in a crowd.”

From reports, Mel isn’t too thrilled with his new look, but his son must be having a blast.
