A number of cosmetic manufacturers have come out in support of breast cancer month. They have been donating proceeds from the sales of products to aid in breast cancer research.
One such company, Estee lauder has introduced two new lines specifically for this purpose. These collections are the “Pink Ribbon Collection” and “Pleasures Gwyneth Paltrow”. The “Pink Ribbon Collection” features special edition lipsticks, lip glosses and shimmer powder, along with a pink ribbon, the symbol of Breast Cancer Month.
“Pleasures Gwyneth Paltrow” is part of the company’s Estee Lauder fragrance line and can be had as a perfume spray, body spray or bath salts.
Estee Lauder will be donating a minimum of $500, 000 from sales of items in these collections. Other companies contributing part proceeds from sales are Clinique and Aveda.
