Canadian singer, Avril Lavigne, was recently honored at the AG Hair Cosmetics’ 8th Annual Best Canadian Hair Awards for her pink tresses. She won the award for the best hair do among Canadian musicians.

Another well-known Canadian who picked up an award at the show was Grey’s Anatomy star, Sandra Oh, whose hair won for being the sexiest hair on a Canadian actress. Seth Rogen, star of Knocked Up had his “tousled mop top” honored for its uniqueness.

Jami Symons, Artistic Director for AG Hair said “This year’s winners exemplify all the styles that are hot for hair this year.” The winners were selected from the online votes of more than 600 Canadian hairdressers.
