2008 is getting even better for actress Halle Berry – not only will she be giving birth to her first child, but will also be creating her own signature fragrance. Berry has joined a number of other celebrities to release their own scent in collaboration with Coty Beauty, known to be successful in the marketing of celebrity scents. Popular celebrity scents from Coty are those from Sarah Jessica Parker, Celine Dion and Jennifer Lopez.

According to WWD, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Coty Beauty US, Steve Mormoris, said of the actress, “Halle is an iconic actress and symbolizes beauty to many generations…She adds another dimension to the celebrity fragrance market…”

Fans of the 41-year old Oscar winning actress will have to wait until the spring of 2009 however to put their hands on the new scent.
