Persons with uneven skin tone have some help coming their way. Eastman Chemicals, a company based in Tennessee has developed a new process that works towards improving skin tone. According to a report on CosmeticsDesign.com, the process produces compounds that are more effective at evening out skin tone than similar processes that are chemically engineered.
CosmeticsDesign.com quoted Dr. Neil Boaz as stating that "The esters manufactured through an enzymatic process demonstrate 100 to 1000 times greater tyrosine inhibition compared to the same derivatives manufactured chemically."
It is suspected that Kojic acid, a natural skin illuminator, is part of the enzymatic process that creates esters which work towards improving skincare.
