Non-invasive treatments continue to gain in popularity among consumers. Now skincare company, Orlane has created a new serum that is heat activated. According to reports the product which was recently launched, is called Thermo-Active Firming Serum. This is meant to take the place of the company’s earlier skin firming product.
Orane hopes that this new serum will be an effective alternative to laser treatment. It contains tourmaline which has piezoelectric capabilities, which means it can generate a slight electrical charge when heat is applied. The product also contains rye extract and oat seed which have positive effects on the skin. Rye extract is known to increase collagen levels, while oat seed extract soothes the skin. Other ingredients are vitamin C, green tea and a B-21 complex.
Orlane has said that this new treatment was inspired by laser treatments, however the final results are similar only in the cosmetic sense.
