In a recent interview with Access Hollywood’s Maria Menounos, actress and singer Hilary Duff said that she is now comfortable about her body. The 20-year old Duff’s fluctuating weight was once a common tabloid topic. Duff responded when questioned about the discussions about her weight, “I think that when you just laugh about it and don’t let it affect you – it’s easier said than done, definitely, because it hurts your feelings and it gets to you and we’re just human.” Duff said that she keeps her body in shape by training with a Pilates’ trainer, while admitting that exercising outside of Pilates was no fun.
Duff first came to public attention as the title character Lizzie McGuire in the television series of the same name. Since then she has starred in the Lizze McGuire Movie, Cheaper By The Dozen and Agent Cody Banks. Her newest album, Dignity, has sold almost 900,000 worldwide since its release in April 2007.
