Actress Katie Holmes’ new hair style has won her Life & Style magazine’s Hot Hair prize. The 28-year old new mom and wife of one of Hollywood’s most powerful actors, Tom Cruise, recently chopped off her long locks in favor of a more mature-looking bob. Katie’s trendy new hair style features a bi-level look, that is, it is a little longer in the back and shorter in the front.

Holmes came out ahead of her new best friend Victoria “Posh Spice” Beckham who started the bob craze. The other celebrities rounding out the top five were Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, Kate Walsh and Nicole Richie.
