Yet another story has emerged which should caution women seeking cosmetic procedures. According to reports online, up to six women turned up at hospitals in New Jersey suffering the effects of illicit substances being injected into their bottoms. Complaints included abscesses and infection, and the situation has authorities concerned.
At this point it is not clear what was injected into the women. President of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, Dr. Renato Saltz was quoted as saying, “Usually it`s industrial silicone, it`s the stuff that you buy at Home Depot.”
Butt augmentation involves more than one type of procedure. In some cases butt implants are used, while in others, injections of fat provide a lift. The procedure which is called gluteoplasty like all other forms of surgery is not without risks.
