On the eve of celebrating her 39th birthday, actress Cate Blanchett vows never to give in to the seductive call of the plastic surgeon’s knife. Blanchett was quoted in a popular magazine affirming her resistance to go under the knife: “I see someone’s face, someone’s body who has had children, and I think they’re the song lines of your experience, and why would you want to eradicate that?”
Blanchett who turns 40 on May 14 captivated fans for her role as Queen Elizabeth in the 1998 movie of the same name as well as for The Aviator. She also played the part of elf queen in the Lord of the Rings movies.
