Japanese Company Shiseido Entering Export Market for Fragrances

Zen, a new fragrance from Japanese cosmetic manufacturer Shiseido will mark the company’s entrance into the international export market. Zen was created exclusively for export and according to Keiichi Fujii, director of marketing in the company’s international product marketing department in an interview, “is meant to build the brand’s image and communicate our history and culture”.

 

This is Shiseido’s third fragrance, with the first launched in 1964 and sold only in Japan. Zen, a female Eau de Parfum will be released in Europe in September before being launched elsewhere.  The scent will be available in three sizes, 100ml, 50ml and 30ml.
