According to plastic surgeons at the University of Regensburg located in Germany, the preferred eyebrows today and in the foreseeable future are low rather than the commonly seen arched high brows. The German study polled approximately 350 people between 12 and 85 years old, and the younger persons thought ‘lower eyebrows were more attractive’. Older persons in the group thought that arched brows were more attractive. Based on the new preferences in eyebrow styles, actress Jennifer Connelly’s brows are now the standard of the perfect brow.

The 37-year old actress is best known for her roles in A Beautiful Mind for which she won an Oscar and Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress, and Hulk.
