She hasn’t tired of Kimora: Life in the Fab Lane, but Kimora Lee Simmons is trying something new. According to online reports, the reality star and former model is getting ready to launch her own skincare range. Shinto Clinical was developed in collaboration with Makari de Suisse, a skincare company.
Offering her inspiration for the project, Simmons said, “This line is about the Eastern allure of diet and beautiful skin. It’s based on cultures that live from the sea,” adding, “…this is really a clinical range.” She was reportedly prompted by her own personal skincare needs in developing the products over the past two years.
Shinto Clinical
will be officially launched on February 24. Simmons was formerly the creative director at Baby Phat before splitting from Phat Fashions in 2010. Her line of successful fragrances includes Seductive Goddess, Golden Goddess and Love Me.
