, a range of powders and lotions to be sold in the White House gift shop will bear the
U.S. presidential seal. The creator of the line, Lesa Glucroft was approached by the Secret Service to place the presidential seal on the toiletries and sell them in the gift shop on the condition that she gives 15 percent of all sales to the Secret Service Fund. The Fund is used to finance the Secret Service’s charitable endeavors. Ms. Glucroft’s agreement with the Secret Service will run for six years. The Secret Service plans on extending the arrangement to other products, with the next line to be called Homeland Preservation.
