Thirty-seven year old Matt Damon has finally taken the title of “Sexiest Man Alive” from his pal, George Clooney. The actor was selected as the top guy in People Magazine’s annual list. Damon said of his win, “You’ve given an aging suburban dad the ego-boost of a lifetime,” according to People Magazine.

People Magazine said Damon’s win in was partially due to his “irresistible sense of humor” and “heart-melting humility”. Damon is the star of the Bourne movies.

The top ten list was rounded out by Patrick Dempsey, Ryan Reynolds, Brad Pitt, James McAvoy, Johnny Depp, Dave Annable, Will Smith and Shemar Moore.
