Things are looking good for the natural cosmetics industry these days. Aside from a slump in UK markets, figures show strong gains in other European markets according to online reports. In fact, estimates are that sales will reach EUR 1.7 billion by the end of this year. Even more impressive is that this figure is expected to jump to EUR 2 billion in 2010.
This growth is largely due to the continuing demand by consumers for safer cosmetic products, industry insiders say. Figures show that France and Germany have seen the biggest gains in sales for natural cosmetics. The sector’s future potential for growth and development will be examined during the Sustainable Cosmetics Summit. This will be held in Frankfurt, Germany on November 16 and 17.
