The call of the sea is increasing and an growing number of manufactures in the skincare industry are responding. Norwegian company, Aqua Bio technology (ABT) is one such and their Zonase is the latest addition to the rising use of marine-based ingredients in skincare products globally.
Zonase is one of the so called hatching enzymes whose function is to break down egg shells while leaving the fish larvae intact. The ingredient is said to be ideal for use in skincare products because of its anti-aging and skin repairing properties. It is currently being used in a number of European countries, namely
