As spring and summer approach thoughts will be turning towards sun protection and HallStar is right there waiting. The company reports that it has developed a multifunctional sunscreen ingredient that has increased UVA (Ultra Violet A) and UVB (Ultra Violet B) radiation protection.
The ingredient, SolaSil PSF can also be used in other personal care products such as moisturizers and anti-aging products. The ingredient contains silicone which helps the formulation maintain its photostabilizing properties. Craig Bronda, research and development director at HallStar said that “SolaSil PSF … extends HallStar’s expertise in photostability.” SolaSil is the result of collaboration between HallStar and Cosmetic Intellectual Properties.
