Sun protection remains an ever present concern for the makers of skin care products. Now, according to published reports, research has revealed that many such products may not be producing the level of protection they should. The products in question include anti-aging creams and foundations.
The study, done by researchers in Europe also questions the safety of using SPF products daily. Brands sold in pharmacies also won out over perfume store brands in terms of adequate sun protection. Pharmacy brands looked at in the study included Roc and Vichy, while perfume store names included Dior and Chanel.
