Another popular Asian fruit is being harnessed for its antioxidant properties and will be used in the manufacturing of personal care products. The Canadian company, Skin Revolution, has launched a new line of skin care products using the oil of the Seabuckthorn as the main ingredient.

The Seabuckthorn is traditionally used in some areas of China in the treatment of various skin conditions. Scientific research has shown that the berry contains high levels of nutrients necessary for healthy skin. Some of these include Vitamin E, essential fatty acids and carotenes.  

Skin Revolution noted that the new natural skin care products will help nourish and repair aging skin. The new line will include stretch mark cream, toner, and night cream.
