While it has been established that athletes do more damage to their skin than the average person, very little has been offered in the way of skincare. That is about to change with the release of a new range of products in the US, designed specifically for athletes. The range is Athletic Body Care and it helps to protect active people from staph, ringworm, MRSA, impetigo and athlete’s foot.
Aside from killing 99.9% of germs on the skin, the products contain no alcohol and have moisturizing properties. They also contain a number of antioxidants and vitamins. The ingredients include Benzalkonium Chloride, which fights germs, Allantoin which helps wounds heal, jojoba and shea butter.
Athletic Body Care, described as the first complete body care system for athletes is safe for all ages.
