Contrary to previous reports, fans of the British group of the 1970s and 80s, the Nolans will be disappointed to know that they will not be taking part in the much hyped reality series, Pop Goes The Band. The show will feature popular bands of the 70s and 80s undergoing a string of cosmetic surgery procedures, dieting and using stylists to turn back the clock.

In an online report, it was revealed that the sisters, Bernie, Coleen, Denise and Maureen would be unable to participate. According to an interview published online, one of the sisters, Denise said, “It would be almost impossible for us to find a window where we were all free to spend weeks doing what the show has in mind.”

Other popular bands of the era, such as Bananarama and Kajagoogoo are still slated to appear. The show is scheduled to start airing in the summer.
