Injectable, less non-invasive anti-aging treatments, especially Botox, Restylane and Radiesse are expected to show unprecedented growth over the next five years. According to Toronto-based information and market research company, MRG (Millennium Research Group), there should be doubling of users of the treatment resulting in six millions users compared to 3 million in 2006.
MRG also noted that current market leader in the dermal filler market, Restylane, may well have major competition from upcoming brand, Juvederm. The release from MRG suggests that the main reason for this doubling of the figures is the desire of Americans for “elective nonsurgical treatments”.
