Procter & Gamble has become the latest company to embrace a more eco-friendly way of doing business. According to published reports, the company will take steps to make major changes to the way its products are packaged. This comes in the form of an investment in plant based PET.
This new initiative will impact a wide range of the company’s products. The plan is to change the packaging to 100 percent plant material. P&G throw its weight behind efforts already underway involving companies like Ford Motor Company and Coco Cola. Together they have created the Plant Technology Collaborative, which will affect all their operations across the globe.
