Proctor and Gamble brand, Oil of Olay is known for its many anti-aging products, however, in a bid to increase its market share the company is going into the skin whitening market. The company has embraced innovation as the way forward and has moved towards developing both anti-aging and skin whitening products together. P&G Thailand’s Corporate & Marketing Communications Manager, Medhee Jarumaneeroi said that “Amid high competition in the skincare market, product innovation is the key that will help us maintain our position as market leader” according to the Bangkok Post.
Two new lines from P&G are Olay Total Effects Anti-aging Facial Stretch Mask and White Radiance Eye Brightening Serum. The new lines are targeted primarily at Thai consumers.
