Grey’s Anatomy star, Patrick Dempsey, aka, Dr. McDreamy is the newest face of the latest fragrance from Avon. The 42-year old actor has signed a three year contract worth $5 million to front the fragrance which is yet to be named. According to money.cnn.com Dempsey will actually be creating a ‘men’s fragrance set’ that will be launched globally by 2009.

Dempsey said of this partnership, “This is an extremely exciting opportunity for me to work with Avon, a brand I have long respected as a global powerhouse with a lot of heart and soul.”  He should know. His wife Jill, a makeup artist, has been Avon’s global creative color director since 2006.

Fans of the handsome actor can see him in his newest film, Made of Honor in early May when it’s released.
