Authorities in central Texas are accusing a woman of being so desperate for breast implants, she was willing to con people to get them. According to online reports, 24-year old Trista Joy Lathern convinced friends and neighbors that she needed to get money for breast cancer treatment. A benefit was organized which ended raising as much as $10,000.

Instead of chemotherapy however, Lathern went to a plastic surgeon and got a boob job. The cost of the procedure was reported to be $6,800. Police arrested her for the deception which had even taken her husband by surprise. The couple has two children ages 5 and 3.
