Polls Shows that Britons Prefer Europe for Cosmetic Surgery

Updated Jan 21, 2007

Over 70% of British citizens polled in a recent survey conducted by cosmeticsurgeryanswers.co.uk would go to Europe to have cosmetic surgery. Spain was the most popular location with 44% of the votes, with Eastern Europe coming in second with 17%, while most respondent chose Prague and Sofia as places they would go to get work done. Belgium received nine percent (9%) of the votes followed by North African countries, Tunisia and Morocco.

This shows the increasing trend of cosmetic surgery tourism. Industry estimates reveal that almost 30,000 British citizens went overseas to have some type of cosmetic surgery done.
