Twenty-four year old Welsh singer, Amiee Ann Duffy, known professionally simply as Duffy has had another US coup. The Mercy singer has signed her first US product endorsement deal. She will appear in Nivea’s new skincare and body care ads which will appear in Fashion Rocks magazine. The line of products includes moisturizers, lotions and lip balms.

Her album, Rockferry is currently the best selling album in the UK for 2008, selling over one million copies. Unlike most musicians, Duffy claims that she has no problem with people downloading her music illegally. She believes that most persons who do so are youngsters who can’t afford to buy the CDs, and they will purchase them when they are older and can afford to do so.
