Intense Light technology, referred to in the industry as IPL is known mostly in spas, but is slowly making its way into the home. Proctor and Gamble has joined the revolution taking place in the anti-aging arena with their partnership with Syneron. The development partnership between P&G and the Israeli-based Syneron will result in a new IPL device for use at home, Elos.
Intense Light technology is used as a popular non-invasive form of anti-aging treatment. The Elos IPL according to its developers can go deeper under the skin than any existing IPL systems currently available. This it is believed leads to improved treatment of wrinkles.
