Current face of CoverGirl Cosmetics, Dana Owens better known as Queen Latifah is hosting the search for the cosmetic company’s new face. Open casting calls will be held at BB King Blues Club and Grill, New York City on January 29^th in a bid to find the company’s next spokesmodel for the new CoverGirl Queen Collection. The contest is open to women of all sizes. The winner will join 18-year old recording artist Rihanna who will begin appearing in ads for CoverGirl starting summer 2007.

The 37-year old rapper/actress has had a successful career in both areas.   She has won a Grammy award as well as being nominated for an Academy Award for her role in the successful movie, Chicago.
