As if aging doesn’t already lead to enough issues, a new report looks at its effects on the health of the skin. The study, The Effects of Menopause on the Skin resulted from a survey of women on their skin concerns after menopause. Vichy Laboratories, a European skincare brand was the sponsor of the study.

Over 600 women over the age of 50 were questioned for the research. Many reported skin changes and skin problems. Common skin concerns after menopause included dryness and sagging. The women also named beautiful celebrities over 50 such as Meryl Streep, Kathie Lee Gifford and Helen Mirren.
