Research Indicate That Antioxidants Work Better on Wrinkles

Updated Sep 4, 2007

A doctoral student from the Hebrew University, Dr. Orit Bossi has reported that a new antioxidant taken from a plant may be the next big thing in antiaging. Dr. Bossi has found that the plant-based antioxidant is able to slow the “breakdown of collagen fibers in the skin.” In addition, the new ingredient is found to possess a number of valuable qualities. Not only does the effect last longer than similar ingredients on the market, but it also remains active much longer. The plant-based antioxidant is also said to be able to withstand higher temperatures making it ideal for use in sunscreens.

The identity of the plant is a closely held secret since the Dr. is having her discovery patented.
