Research Shows Tricutan Can Improve Aging Skin

Updated Dec 13, 2007

A study on the ingredient Tricutan by researchers at the Dermatology Clinic in Sweden has shown that it improves aging skin. The study proved that Tricutan improves skin firmness and elasticity. Tricutan is a blend of Indian, Chinese and Mediterranean herbs which include Centella Asiatic (a herb with medical properties), rosemary, tumeric, madacamia nut oil. The study of 25 women between 34 and 67 lasted four weeks. According to the researchers, there was minimal negative reaction to the use of the serum on the skin with only four women having any reaction.

The ingredient is said to “increase facial muscle contractions and encourages the face to give itself a natural facelift by shortening and tightening the muscles.”

Tricutan is one of the ingredients in the anti-aging product, Dermyn; the product was recently rolled out internationally.
