Actress Christina Ricci regrets spending much of her teenage years obsessing about her weight. The now 27 year old actress in an interview on Entertainment Tonight said she has regrets about the time she spent worrying about her weight when she was younger. Ricci stated that “I was too busy thinking about my skin or my weight or the clothes I was wearing instead of just enjoying it…”
The actress said because of her obsession and vanity at the time she ended up with the eating disorder, anorexia. According to Ricci, “I was a teenager going through adolescence and at one point I had a little anorexia phase…” She said she has now come to realize that “her body now is the adult Christina…”
Ricci gained famed as Wednesday Addams in the 1991 Addams Family movie when she was just 11. She also appeared in the sequel, Addams Family Values in 1993.
