When Penny Lancaster had her hair done at Steven Carey Hairdressers in London on Friday (March 14), they apparently made sure the new Mrs. Rod Stewart had the best. According to reports, rocker Rod Stewart was so pleased with his wife’s new do, he tipped the hairstylist an extra £200 (approx. $400) for a job well done.

Lancaster was signed as the face of designer lingerie brand, Ultimo in 2002. She was later replaced in 2004 by Rachel Hunter. Hunter was Stewart’s second wife and mother of two of his children; he was in the process of divorcing Hunter while romancing Lancaster. Of course, the situation gave tabloid newspapers a hot topic for weeks.

The lanky 37-year old model, who stands at 6 foot-one in bare feet, is 63-year old Stewart’s third wife and mother of his seventh child.
