A 16-year old schoolgirl named Jessica Watson set out on Sunday October 18 to sail non-stop around the world. One of the companies that will be supporting her world record attempt is Australian skincare brand Ella Baché. According to information provided on the company’s website they will care for Watson’s skin during the long and arduous journey.

A statement on the Ella Bache website read, “We are thrilled to announce Ella Baché, the Skincare Experts as the major sponsor of 16-year old Jessica Watson`s solo around the world epic sailing voyage.” The boat is also named in honor of the skincare company. It is called Ella’s Pink Lady.

Ella Baché products were first created in Paris in 1936 by Madame Ella Baché. Edith Hallas then took the products to Australia where it is one of the most recognized brands today.
