Research from the
Russian
Academy of Sciences has proven that women’s choice of beauty care creams is related to their personality traits. The research team led by Tatiana Rebeko found that the choice of creams especially said a lot about the owner’s coping ability when faced with stress. The researchers also noted that it was possible to determine the women’s feelings of self-esteem and their “ability to deal with conflict” based on these criteria. The research team refers to this phenomenon as the “structure of feminine identity”.
The team, attached to the
Institute of
Psychology studied 28 women ranging in age from 22 to 65 to arrive at their findings.
