A recent survey done by Woman and Home indicated that most women aged 40 and over believed that they look younger than they are. Of a total of 7,300 women polled, 65% said they looked younger than their age. This new way of looking at their bodies is partially because women are taking better care of themselves.

It was revealed from the sample group that 70% of older women eat properly with over 40% exercising regularly. The use of cosmetic procedures such as Botox, plastic surgery and beauty care routines has also played a part in the younger looking 40+ group.

It is believed that older celebrities like Madonna who due to one means another have maintained their youthful looks, are contributing to the trend of older women taking better care of themselves.
