Have things gotten rough for short term Tonight Show host Conan O’Brien? According to online reports, lately he has not been his usually impeccably groomed self. Reports have surfaced that he was spotted on vacation wearing a beard. His facial hair has also made the cover of Entertainment Weekly.

This is not the first time O’Brien has dabbled with facial hair. He surprised many during the writer’s strike which began late in 2007 with what he referred to as his first beard. If he does take up a rumored offer from Fox to host a late night chat show it remains to be seen what happens to the beard.
