Updated Nov 16, 2006Believing it will increase their prospects in the job market more than three out of every four Koreans polled recently have considered cosmetic surgery. The online survey conducted by Career found that 78% of the 1,133 workers polled said that good looks were very important in getting a job.
The three top procedures listed among those polled were nose jobs accounting for 21% of the votes, eyelid surgery and dental procedures. Most of the males wanted to look like actor and musician Jang Dong-gun, while females would most like cosmetic surgery to make them look like actress and model Han Ga-in.
