Two new ingredients for the beauty industry were launched by DSM International. The ingredients are Radiance CR and Niacinamide PC which are touted as being able to help maintain skin health as well as fight aging. DSM is a fairly new entrant into the beauty business; the company’s core business is the pharma and nutritional sector.

Radiance CR is being marketed as being able ‘smooth and lighten the skin’, so the ingredient will be marketed to the manufacturers of skin lightening products. Niacinamide PC on the other hand is said to provide multiple benefits such as anti-wrinkle, acne treatment and skin lightening.

DSM International’s incursion into the beauty and skin care market is expected to grow with the company’s investment in Sol-Gel Technologies, an Israeli company.
