The British luxury fashion house Burberry wants to add a bit more beauty to the world. This time it has nothing do with their clothing and accessories. The company plans to create its own makeup line on the heels of the success of its fragrance, The Beat, according to online reports.
Burberry’s chairman and managing director Philippe Benacin said to Women’s Wear Daily, “It gives another dimension to the brand.” Rumors about the expected line began as early as February. As many as 100 beauty products are expected in the range which should be released by July 2010.
