Unlike many celebrities whose stars have risen, Becki Newton, one of the regulars on Ugly Betty, admits to not being trendy. In an article published on MSN Lifestyle, the 29-year old who plays the role of Amanda Tanen on the series, said that she’s is ‘woefully behind when it comes to beauty trends.’

The actress was quoted in the article on her makeup bag: "I wear my blush in the exact same color I`ve always worn… I`ve tried all the different looks, but at the end of the day I go back to what I know."

Newton has appeared in a number of commercials as well guess starring in quite a few popular TV series before landing on Ugly Betty.
