Leona Lewis, who wooed judges and fans alike on Britain’s reality talent show, X Factor, now has another challenge ahead of her. Online sources reveal that the 23-year old singer has been told that she has to develop a sexier image if she expects to make it big in the USA.

The young singer was told that unless she shapes up her career will not last as long as those of Mariah Carey, Madonna or even Janet Jackson. In an effort to comply, Lewis has retained the services of Patricia Gay, the same trainer who worked with Carey. Lewis sometimes flies to Gay’s home in St. Barts in the Caribbean.  

Lewis is doing well in the US and has become the first British singer to have her debut album reach the top of the US Billboard 200 chart.
