| I first learned about Bare Minerals while watching an infomercial. Naturally, I was a bit skeptical. However, after years of wearing a liquid foundation, the whole concept of Bare Minerals was intriguing. The idea of something so sheer and light immediately appealed to me. An even bigger plus was that the products are fragrance free and have no talc or preservatives that can irritate my skin.
It took a few tries to get the desired amount of product on the brush. My first instinct was to use more than needed, considering my experiences with other cosmetic lines. I was skeptical about the positive claims made by Bare Minerals because I was worried that it wouldn’t cover my uneven skin tones. However, I followed the directions and it worked beautifully.
Until you try Bare Minerals, you have no idea of how heavy some products really are. When you apply Bare Mineral`s foundation, it has such a fine quality that you don`t feel that you have it on. It feels as if you have just washed your face and are not wearing any makeup. The product lasted all day. I usually apply more foundation before going out in the evening, but there was no need for that. I just added blush and I felt like I was ready to go.
Bare Minerals Foundation also has SPF 15 sunscreen protection that means that I don’t have to botch my face with a greasy cream before hand.
The bottom line: Bare Minerals has a great value for its price. I’m hooked!
