| Pros: If you want to enhance your tan, Mystic Glo Bronzing Shimmer will give you just what you are asking for. This product will provide your already tanned skin a shimmer that you won’t get elsewhere. It works especially well if you have any uneven, blotchy areas from tanning. Mystic Glo is a blend of gold, silver, and bronze pigments in a moisturizing cream base, enriched with vitamins A & E. It is actually a very good moisturizer. It smells good and makes your skin feel smooth and soft.
If you are not used to applying bronzing or tanning creams, be prepared to wash your hands immediately after applying Mystic Glo. I made the mistake of waiting a few minutes and to my surprise, the palms of my hands had that “warm shimmering glow.” However, it washed off, so it ended up not being a big deal. Make sure you wait until it dries before getting dressed.
It spreads easily, and it isn’t hard to get a smooth look. In the “pioneer days” of tanning creams, you often ended up with orange, streaky skin. If you have ever had that experience, you might be hesitant to try tanning products. Mystic Tan has been in the tanning business since the late 1990s - they have their own tanning salons. They helped pioneer spray-on tan, so they know what they are doing. My boyfriend and I both used it. He didn’t like the shimmer on himself, but he certainly liked it on me.
Cons: If you have fair skin, you maybe out of luck. Mystic Glo only comes in one shade which is not as flattering for fair skin.
The bottom line: If you want your tan to sparkle and shine, go with the Glo!
