| Going to the library just got more fun! Just think of a fragrance library with every imaginable good scent waiting to be tried. That’s exactly what the Demeter Company has to offer. With over two hundred scents, there is a fragrance for every taste.
Demeter’s spray cologne essences are true to their names. The Vanilla Ice Cream was easily identifiable with a true vanilla bouquet. So much so, you almost want to lick your wrist to get a taste of that delicious flavor. The Baby Powder smelled just like the talc that moms use for their babies. At first whiff, the spray delivers a strong dose but as it settles on the skin, you get a pleasant amount of scent. While the fragrance seems highly concentrated at first, it doesn’t seem to last as long on the skin as it does on the clothes.
Just as in any library, there is something for every taste. The same is true for Demeter. While the scents are kooky and fun, some appear to be over-the-top. Named after popular drinks, food, and everyday products, other selections include rubber, rye bread, stable, mildew, lobster, glue, dust, and laundromat.
